This past week was very eventful for Eliza, she turned three! During the past year, she has definitely continued to bring laughter to our family with her outgoing, loving, and spirited personality. Her and Adalyn continue to be best friends, she always says, "Adalyn is my sister, I love her."
On Wednesday afternoon we had her birthday party. She had been planning her 'Sofia the First' birthday party the last six months, so she was beyond excited when the day had finally arrived and all of her friends came over to celebrate. We are fortunate to have five other families that we regularly get together with, so the kids have formed close friendships with each other. It was wonderful party filled with games, food, and of course purple cupcakes!

She loved the frosting-
On Saturday, her real birthday, we had plans of going sledding in the mountains. Unfortunately, Adalyn had the stomach flu, so plans were changed. Chris took her to the park and for a hot chocolate date and they had a great afternoon. Adalyn decided we would do a "birthday do-over" when she was feeling better. She was very sad to miss out on the special birthday pancakes and cake!
Date with Daddy-
She had such a fun week! We are now looking forward to our next visitors, Chris' brother and his family. The girls are SUPER anxious to have their cousins, Sophia and Brady, visit us! Since we moved, we had always talked about it, so it is hard to believe they will be in Geneva next week.
